Yes! All Happy Jack Yoga courses are Yoga Alliance certified. On completion of your course, you can apply to Yoga Alliance to have your education formally recognized by this global authority for 25 continuing education credits.

This course is designed to take approximately 25 hours of your time. Depending on your schedule, you can complete it in as little time as 1 week! Most of our students take 2-4 weeks to complete a 25-hour training, and others take much longer. The choice is yours.

When you sign up, you’ll be given login details for our world-class online learning platform, where you can access your course (and if you become a member, you will find a complete library of materials instantly available to you!). Simply log in to your course area and begin learning! Your course contains a mix of short, easy-to-digest video lectures, downloadable and printable course resources, recommended reading, action steps, homework and engagement prompts. You’ll submit homework and reflection tasks on the course forum in our community platform. There are also five virtual sharing circles to attend, and these are recorded if a) you can’t attend some of them live, or b) you are doing self-paced study. When it’s time to submit your final assignment, you’ll be guided to do so and you will receive feedback from our facilitators. Once you have met all course requirements, you will follow the ‘steps to graduation’ module to receive your certificate!

Absolutely! This course is part of the Happy Jack University 300-hour curriculum. You can combine any 12 of our 25-hour courses to reach 300 hours of recognized learning. Then, if you have also completed your 200-hour yoga teacher certification (you can do this with us too!), then you will be 500-hour certified! Note: your 300-hour certification must be completed with one training school in order to be recognized - this is the yoga industry standard. If you already have your 500-hour certification, you can take any of our 25-hour trainings for your continuing education credits. And if you don’t wish to become a yoga teacher at all, ALL of our trainings are available to EVERYONE with an interest in yoga. If you’re not interested in obtaining a certificate, you are absolutely welcome to learn with us.

To be recognized by an industry body like Yoga Alliance, all yoga teachers begin with a foundational 200-hour training. At Happy Jack Yoga University, our signature training is called The Hero’s Journey, and takes place 3 times per year, 13 weeks per round. When you obtain your 200-hour certificate, if you wish, you can continue learning to achieve an additional 300-hours of recognized learning. At HJY University, our curriculum is broken into 25-hour courses. You can achieve 300 hours by studying any 12 of our short courses. Then, once you have your 200 and 300 hour certificates, that’s it! They combine to make you 500-hour certified! Beyond this, to keep your certified yoga teacher status, you’ll need to do a little bit of continuing education (short courses) each year. Your continuing education credits can be done through us (we have over 17 short courses already, and more coming) or with any reputable yoga training school.

Yes, that is absolutely possible to graduate both your RYT-200 and RYT-500 within one year! You will want to allow yourself a minimum of 12 months to achieve this level of yoga teacher mastery.
